Alan and Paul gave me this piñata last September for my birthday and its been a source of entertainment ever since. I've kicked it, wrestled it, punched it, been scared by it. But, its time to go. Some things you just gotta throw out when you clean your room. Big pinatas are one of them. Bye "CH" man. Never knew what the "CH" stood for. Must be some Mexican thang. I always called him chai man.

Boom! New video card!

Oh, my! This card is fast. Its an ATI Radeon 9800xt Mac edition with 256MB VRAM. Delicious. DVDs never looked so good. Oh yeah, it also speeds up render times in my pro apps, so its productive too. I really buy to buy a sweet game to play with thoough.

My friend Mike came over to log some footage of a commercial he just shot. Looks awesome. Beautiful 35mm. I can't wait to shoot something on film!

Geffen Project

So, I'm doing this project for a friend, Jeni. She works at the Geffen Playhouse and they taped themselves tearing down and erecting a new set. Here's the thing though, they didn't shoot it as a time lapse. Instead they give me 24 hours of footage to speed up. That's a lot of digitizing. So, after about 3 days I digitize all the footage. Now, what speed??? They want it to be about 2 min long. It comes out to about 70000%. After that's done I throw in some soundtrack pro royalty free music cause I'm nice and I go above and beyond the call of duty. It came out well. check it out.
